Integrating ISearch into Instruction: Best Practices from DBICoaches

Webinar date: Thursday, November 17 2016, 3:30 PM

INFOhio-automated schools across the state are using ISearch to help students in all grades prepare for research in college and in their future careers. INFOhio has found that schools with trained District/Building INFOhio Coaches (D/B ICoaches) have high usage data for ISearch. Join us as we learn best practices for integrating ISearch into classroom instruction from some of these INFOhio-trained educational leaders in districts with high ISearch use. Find out what D/B ICoaches are doing to share ISearch with colleagues in their district and how they are helping students successfully use this online tool. Additionally, participants will learn more about how to become a D/B ICoach for next school year.

Presenters:

Emily Rozmus, INFOhio Integration Librarian

Erica Clay, INFOhio Integration Librarian

D/B ICoaches:

  • Amy Keister, District Librarian, Louisville City Schools
  • Denette Mottayaw, Teacher Librarian, Clear Fork Schools
  • Diane Christensen, Library Media Specialist, Northern Local Schools

  • Mary Elder, Teacher Librarian, Fredericktown Local Schools
