Trainer Guides are available for trainers who wish to provide professional development using the classes in the INFOhio Learning Pathways. If you would like to become certified to deliver training on INFOhio tools and resources, please consider joining INFOhio's ICoach program for educators who work in Ohio PreK-12 schools or IPartner program for staff in Ohio education agencies including ESCs, ITCs, Ed Techs, universities, public or academic libraries, and more.

Trainer Guides

Each class has an optional Trainer Guide and optional resources to provide additional organizational support and training activities. The Trainer Guide is available as an exercise file at the bottom of the page.

Considerations

The Trainer Guide includes options that extend beyond the time associated with the available contact hours documented on the class certificate of completion. These options are included to support an interactive face-to-face experience. The trainer can choose to offer additional contact hours and certificates to accompany the class.

Pacing

The Trainer Guides provide an overview of the class including lessons, activities, and reflection. Depending on the audience and content, consider whether the content is best learned in one or multiple sessions. In a group setting, it is important to include time for additional questions, conversation, collaboration, reflection, and the opportunity to interact and experiment with the resource.
