Shelley Hughett
Shelley is a Software Support Specialist at TCCSA where she has served for more than 20 years. Not only has she provided outstanding support for the INFOhio applications, but Shelley has also supported EMIS, DASL, and Gradebook applications for TCCSA users. Prior to joining TCCSA, Shelley was the Library Support Specialist at NCOCC where she got to know Spence White. Shelley shared, “Spence was a quiet, effective leader that I fondly recall from my first years of supporting INFOhio.”
Shelley is being recognized for her more than two decades of exemplary service to the INFOhio project and its users. Shelley’s nominators were Lori Pringle, District Library Media Specialist, East Holmes Local Schools; Maria Hines, District Librarian, Northwestern Local Schools; and Julie Seboe, District Librarian, Loudonville-Perrysville Exempted Village School District. Her nominators highlighted Shelley’s problem-solving skills, timeliness, organizational skills, advocacy on behalf of user needs, “passion” and “heart” that she brings to service and support, and dedication to INFOhio. “I could not do my job without Shelley’s assistance through helpdesk, telephone calls, Zoom calls, and on-site visits.”
The INFOhio Advisory Board remarked, "Shelley’s advocacy for school library staff has not gone unnoticed by her nominators. The examples provided by three licensed school library media specialists addressing her outstanding support for the delivery of the INFOhio project were among the reasons Shelley was selected. Shelley Hughett epitomizes the standard of excellence INFOhio wishes to carry on in the name of Spence White."
All of us at INFOhio congratulate and thank Shelley for her outstanding service!
