Imagine a world in which educators could find free learning materials to use in their classroom to build or supplement an engaging curriculum. Think about what a district could be if it didn't have to pay thousands of dollars a year to update or replace textbooks and other curricular materials. Picture an educational system in which students and parents could find additional resources to help learn critical skills and explore additional interests. This isn't a dream, however. All of these things are possible through the world of Open Educational Resources (OER). This pathway will explain the basics of OER and how to find and evaluate free instructional materials, share and integrate OER within a classroom, create engaging, effective learning materials, and advocate for OER adoption.
