What Is Fetch?
Fetch is a basic library catalog search for students of all ages. Fetch uses a simple interface and includes a reading-level search as well as a visual search. Fetch searches only the school library catalog and does not include the INFOhio digital resources. Fetch also does not include advanced features such as the ability to create lists. For advanced features, try ISearch.
If you access Fetch through a link or widget, you'll land on the Fetch landing page or homepage.
These are the main components of the Fetch landing page:
Mascot or Icon
School or district name displays at the top in a banner
User functions including New Search, Reading Level Search, Visual Search, and Log Out

The Fetch Results Screen
If you access Fetch through a widget or if you search from the Fetch landing page, you'll land on the Fetch results screen.
These are the main components of the Fetch results screen:
Number of titles Fetched in the search
Page navigation (if available)
Book cover image or generic icon
Brief information about the item
Item Details
Click on the cover image or title to access item details.
These are the main components of the item details screen:
Item Call Number
Title and Author Information
Item Availability - Items with an Available status are green.
Item Information, including Reading Program Information, Summary, and Subject Headings
ISearch Options, if enabled
View MARC Details
More Info - Opens another window with Summary, Author Notes, and other relevant information
Find More by This Author - execute another search with the author as the search term
Cover art, if available
What is available in Fetch?
Fetch searches your school library catalog only. If a student needs access to research resources like World Book or Ebsco, it is best if you start your search from ISearch.
