So far, you have completed the classes required for all individuals in the ICoach Program: ICoach 101 and Introduction to INFOhio. You also will complete two classes of your choice from the INFOhio Learning Pathways to fulfill the INFOhio ICoach training requirements.

The second class you choose will be about one of INFOhio's web tools or initiatives. Web tools are developed by INFOhio to support our mission and vision. Initiatives are educational topics INFOhio supports.

Classes about web tools and initiatives vary in length. Once you complete the class of your choice and pass the final quiz, you will receive a certificate reflecting contact hours for the class. You may earn more or less than 15 contact hours based on the classes you choose after completion of the ICoach Learning Pathway. Below is a list of the classes and their length. Complete one of these web tools or initiatives classes to meet your ICoach training requirements.

Ages 3-5 Digital Content Learning Pathway

• Using Technology with Early Learners (initiative) - 2 hours
• INFOhio Early Learning Portal (web tool) - 2 hours

K-5 Digital Content Learning Pathway

• Reading on the Screen (initiative) - 3 hours

6-8 Digital Content Learning Pathway

• IWonder (web tool) - 2 hours

High-Quality Instructional Materials for Each Child Learning Pathway

• Quality, Grade-Level Text from INFOhio (initiative)- 4.5 hours
• Open Space (web tool) - 3 hours

BLUEcloud Learning Pathway

• ISearch for Librarians (web tool) - 4.5 hours

Reflecting on Your Learning

Answer the following questions about the class you completed in the ICoach 2024-2025 Post 6: Web Tool or Initiative Class.

1. Which web tool/initiative class did you complete? What made you decide to complete this class?
2. What features of the web tool are most appealing to students? To educators? To parents?/How is the initiative important to supporting student learning?
3. One of your co-workers has approached you in the hall for help with a lesson. Write two to three sentences you would use to explain why they should use the INFOhio web tool or initiative to support student learning.
